Rena Price has died in Los Angeles at the age of 97. She, and her son Marquette Frye were arrested on August 11, 1965 and that incident sparked the Watts Riots. Six days later 34 people were dead, thousands injured and millions of dollars worth of property had been damaged or destroyed.
