Random Ramblings on a Sunday evening

Atlanta, Beverly Hills, DC, Miami, New Jersey, New York and Orange County.  What do they have in common?  They are now, or were, the focus of a reality show "The Real Housewives of XX" on Bravo.  I actually typed "Brato", which is probably a good name for the network, given the bulk of their programming involves bitchy people but I felt the need to correct it.  They should spin off a new network.  "The Real Housewives Network".  Then I could just de-program it from my channel changer.

What will cable networks do when everyone who watches them has seen all of the episodes of Law & Order, Law & Order SVU and Law & Order: Criminal Intent?

All of the men everywhere who are big fans of Girls Gone Wild and buy those DVDs on a regular basis are relieved to discover that the company's Chapter 11 filing is only so founder Joe Francis can try to avoid paying $30 million to Steve Wynn for a lawsuit that Francis lost.

Plantar fascitis sucks.  Just in case you've never been tortured by it.  Worse yet, it takes a long time to heal.  I see a lot of Tylenol in my future (I can't take Ibuprofen).

I can't wait (sarcasm dripping) to go over to Santa Monica/UCLA Medical Center next week to try to get them to sign off on some paperwork I need from back when I was hospitalized.  That's going to be a major clusterf**k.  I supposed I could try going down to San Pedro to where I was in the sub-acute, but they have lost this paperwork twice so that's not a good alternative.

What was the judge in New Mexico thinking?  He let a bully compete in a wrestling tournament, AFTER the school system had suspended the bully for three days for slapping a fellow student, stealing his lunch money and knocking his lunch tray out of his hands.  Then again, the volunteer wrestling coach (a County Commissioner), a school board member and a State Senator all tried to intervene on the boy's behalf.  Even though he confessed to the infractions.  My question is, why didn't the parents of this thug do the right thing and punish him themselves?  My answer is that he probably learned to be a bully from them.

The election on March 5th for L.A. mayor will be one of apathy.  How sad.

If the data mined from the "missed connections" section on Craigslist is to be believed, WalMart is the place to look for love.
