The murder of Charlie Kirk

Political violence is a horrible thing. It doesn’t matter which side of the aisle you are on politically. Act of violence in the name of religion, politics beliefs, whatever you want to use; it’s wrong. There is no place for violence, especially the taking of another’s life in Politics.

No matter how you feel about another person and their beliefs, violence is not a proper response. I condemn in the strongest possible language, those who are dancing on the corpse of Charlie Kirk.

“I cannot stand the word empathy, actually. I think it is a New Age made up Term that does a lot of damage.” Those are the words of Charlie Kirk. How else can we evaluate the character of a murdered victim, but examining what he said and wrote while still alive?

Some of you may believe him to be racist and or a xenophobe. I will not judge your beliefs. It’s not my place. It suffice it to say I was not a fan of this man’s view points while he was alive and find them even more troubling now that he has been the victim of a senseless murder.

We are all Entitled to our own views, our own opinions. If you believe he was a racist, you’re entitled to that belief. form your own opinion Of the man.

The  current occupant of the Oval Office Unstable may well be the most divisive person to occupy that office in our nation’s history. He ignores the sage words of our nations, 16th president that a house divided against itself cannot long stand.

I will not celebrate the murder of Charlie Kirk. Kirk said something about the second amendment being so important it survival is worth the loss of a few lives Every so often. How ironic, those words now seem in the light of his murder.

I will not opine about how his fans celebrate his passing. They are entitled to their grief. To follow the advice of Michelle Obama, who famously said, “when they go low we go high “
