Time for some random ponderings

After seeing yet another new commercial for Fabletics, the line of active wear from Kate Hudson I must ponder if they're able to keep the prices lower because she does all of the modeling for TV ads herself.

Obviously, Donald Trump's copy of the alleged letter from the NFL is filed with all of the receipts for his massive personal contributions to charity over the last six years (six years because he hasn't given a dime of his own money to his personal foundation over that period).

Just noticed that A Chorus Line is playing at the Hollywood Bowl.  I hate fighting the crowds and can't handle all the walking but it's damn tempting.  I love that musical.  Saw it the night before I headed off to basic military training.  Some of the songs from that show are still in my head almost forty years later.

I'd bet money the Koch brothers did not request a meeting with Donald Trump.  He's just doing his usual BS by claiming he doesn't need their money.  But when he has to report on his fundraising, we'll see how he's really doing.

Does it bother you that Bristol Palin is teaching her 7 year old son to shoot?  I have mixed feelings about it.  That's right around the age my grandfather took me to the rifle range for the first time.  But maybe kids that age aren't ready to handle the distinction between toys and real firearms.

After billionaire Mark Cuban referred to Donald Trump as a "jagoff" I'm guessing they won't be dining together at Primanti Brothers in Pittsburgh.

Kudos to USC for their Warrior Boot Camp program, now in year two, for helping veterans to adjust to college life.  One of my clients is an ex-military guy who went to USC after his enlistment was up and they were helpful to him as well.  Well played.

Are businesses making noise about suing people who give them negative Yelp reviews?  Seems to be the case.  Let em sue.

Former L.A. County Sheriff Lee Baca is going to roll the dice and go to trial, rather than risk the judge imposing a five year prison term on him.  I think he's making a big mistake.

When Trump loses in November, I want to be the first to attribute the loss to the fact that "Trump's mouth runneth over" so I'll say it now.

If Warren Buffet really wants Donald Trump to release his tax returns, he should pledge to donate $10 million to the veterans charity of Trump's choice for releasing the returns.  Bet Trump couldn't turn that down.

BTW, Trump's solution to the Zika virus is to build a giant screen door around the U.S. and get those pesky mosquitoes to pay for it.
