Serious toll violators and other eye-catching Friday headlines

A Texas couple has a big bill for unpaid tolls on the state's toll roads.  Over $236,000.  The state is seeking payment and is willing to work out a payment plan.  They claim the couple's car has driven past toll points more than 14,000 times without paying.

Airline passengers are already complaining about the new, narrower seats on some airlines.

On the day that retailer J.C. Penney announced they would open at 8:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving, their stock hit a 33 year low, closing at $7.01 per share.

A woman in Federal Way, WA plans to continue her fight to keep her pet pygmy goat.  The City Council voted 6-1 to deny a motion to revise the city code in order for Ava Anissipour to be able to keep the pet.

Ogunquit, ME passed an ordinance banning "chain" restaurants.  Now it is considering whether or not the planned El Rodeo Mexican restaurant is a chain.  There are currently 26 other locations but they are family-owned and do not "take orders from a corporation."

A police officer in Derry, NH is claiming that a worker at McDonald's deliberately served him a raw hamburger because he is a cop.
