Networks go all royal baby, all the time and other eyecatching headlines

It's a boy.  Other than that, and the weight at 8 pounds, 6 ounces, little else is known about the baby that the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to today at a London hospital.  The fountains at Trafalgar Square will run "blue" for the next week to commemorate the birth.  The child is third in line for the throne and this is the first time since 1894 that three generations of heirs have been alive at the same moment.

The National League's Most Valuable Player for the 2011 season was Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers.  Today he accepted a 65 game suspension for violating baseball's drug policy.  This is probably just the first suspension of many involving players connected with Biogenesis.

San Diego Mayor Bob Filner was sued for sexual harassment by the city's former Communications Manager.  She's represented by Gloria Allred, which is bad news for Mayor Filner.  Also bad for him is the fact he'll be footing the bill for his own legal fees.  One of the claims the woman is making is that the mayor told her to "come to work with no panties on."

The fact that Texas doesn't regulate amusement parks means that Six Flags in Austin will be investigating itself in the matter of the women who "accidentally" fell to her death from a roller coaster.

The lost life savings of a couple who threw it away when the husband took their old refrigerator to a recycling place has been found.  But the woman didn't leave her name when she showed up at the recycling facility and was told it would be impossible to find it.  Now they are looking for the couple to return the money to them.
