"Hail to the Chief", but that's my way of saying I apparently won election as President of the Resident's Council where I live. Of course that and a dollar plus tax will get me a soda at McDonald's. It's a thankless job and I only agreed to take it on because some of my neighbors felt I could do a better job than the outgoing president, who was seeking reelection. I'll let you know how it goes. There is a movie I wanted to see and I posted on its FB page that I was sad it wasn't opening in Los Angeles this weekend, only New York City. Whoever is managing social media for this film responded quickly that the film is available on iTunes and on Video on Demand. I got excited and blocked out two hours to watch it before I was to leave this afternoon. Went to VOD on my cable system and lo and behold, it is NOT available. I didn't bother checking iTunes, I don't want to watch a movie on my phone or my laptop. So I guess I may or may not see it when it does open in L.A.
I don't know if it was my pumping out three blog entries yesterday, or that announcing one of them touched on Affirmative Action that did it, but it was a record day for pageviews yesterday, for which I'm very grateful.
